Whew! They called you back and you are set for date number two! Now it’s time to see if they have dating potential or are just fling material. Try to find an activity that will give you a little more insight into who this new beau is as person and showcase yourself as well.
Here a few second date ideas:
1. Pick a movie theater to meet at and just see the next movie showing. If it turns out to be the best flick ever, awesome! If not, at least you have a mutual dislike in common. You can’t lose here.
2. Have some fun at an arcade. Show off you skee-ball skills and have some friendly, flirty competition.
3. Go check out a local band neither of you know. You can find out someone’s musical taste pretty quickly that way. It is also common knowledge anything rock ‘n’ roll on your date makes you look cooler.
4. Go to a sporting event. It’s okay if you rooting for different teams, rivalry is always good.
5. See a burlesque show! A little skin can be a good thing.
6. Take your date to the local animal shelter and offer to walk the cutest dog in the room. Animal shelters are always looking for volunteers.
7. Visit the local farmers market, right now they have a ton of seasonal options to take back to your place for a tasty meal.
8. Just because it’s not October doesn’t mean you can’t check out a local ghost tour. Ghosts tours are great outside-the-box dates for a lot of reasons, everything is scarier when you can see your own breath.
9. Go to the Zoo. – Cute animals all over the place, who could go wrong?
10. See a stand-up comedy show. But be sure to sit in the back — you don’t want to be the couple in the front who gets made fun of!
