One last reminder:  Take a minute to check over the expiration dates on your condoms now.  If it’s dark, or your partner is in a hurry to hit the sheets, its unlikely you’ll take the time to make sure your condom is within expiration and in good condition.  If you believe your condom is past or perhaps even near the expiration date, you should consider another or delaying your sexual activity until a more suitable replacement can be made.

Columbus, OH - 12/2/2008 - December is AIDS Awareness Month, and Undercover Condoms has partnered with the Columbus AIDS Task Force (CATF) to raise money for the fight against AIDS.  Undercover Condoms (www.undercovercondoms.com) will donate $1 for each order placed during December directly to CATF for continued support of outreach programs. These programs help provide education, testing, condoms, and health services for those who are living with this deadly disease.

The last comprehensive survey, conducted in 2006 by the Center for Disease Control, estimates that 436,693 people in the United States are living with AIDS. What’s more, 36,828 individuals represented newly reported cases.  14,016 Americans died as a result of the AIDS virus in 2006, and while the statistics have shown minor improvements in recent years, continued education, testing and access to preventative contraceptives are essential to decreasing new diagnoses. Despite the best efforts of organizations all over the globe, people are still having unprotected sex and increasing their chances of contracting the AIDS virus. It is imperative that organizations like the CATF have funds to educate and protect people.
